As I sit here in the mac lab waiting for the newspaper class to let out so I can get some other homework done, I notice this longer reading we also have have to respond to. I think to myself when I finish printing the reading out that it would have been nicer to receive this reading before the weekend since now we only have 2 days for a 14 page reading.

The reading points out something near the beginning and I realized that when I look at something, I do look for the relationship between the subject the view has and myself without realizing it.

Reading Assignment 2
I had forgotten about this 2nd reading until this week. At least I am responding to it now.

I have noticed from reading this that the seriousness of photography has dwindled through the years. Like stated in the reading, the photography of the 19th century was a serious event, while now I do not see many people taking photography seriously. I also agree with the statement at the end that says that "a strong portrait is a strong photograph." If there was not was a good subject and the photographer did not take tame to set up the camera properly for the picture, then there would not be a good picture. I also found the inexpensive ways to set up the lighting interesting.

Reading Assignment 1
I honestly do not know what to say about or how to respond to our first reading Digital Revisited.

Well on second thought, when I reread the quote by E.L. Doctorow I possibly thought of something to say. When Doctorow says "We live in an age where everything is available but nothing is valuable," I agreed. People today take everything for granted. In some cases, maybe, even their own lives.

Also, come to think of it, I not even sure if this section was even to have meant something to me compared to the first section that actually has something to do with this class.
