Mid-Term Response

I chose to respond to Loretta Lux. I liked Simon Johan photographs more than Loretta Lux because of the animal subjects being outside in their natural habitat compared to children inside their house. I just found the animals to be more interesting. But I think Loretta Lux's photographs are successful because they look exactly like portraits. I can not think of what she used to edit the pictures because they look so flawless.

I am not sure if I did this right, but I still think it looks cool.

Reading Assignment 5 & Shooting Exercise

Currently I do not have the reading for this week on my person when writing this. I will get back to this bit later.

Shooting Exercise

This exercise was somewhat interesting. I ended up looking for pictures that would have a different front and back picture, but would be still interesting. From doing what I did for this exercise, the interesting part I found was the difference between the front and back pictures I took.

Reading Assignment 4

I know this is late, but I will get back to this entry in a little bit.

...

I finally found my reading. So now I can respond to it.
I only point I can relate to was when you do not have to print everything you shoot. This allows you to make risks during the three chances you have to get a good picture. The three chances are taking the picture, reformatting the picture, and printing the picture I think.
